2009 Austrian champions Nitro Onroad

An absolute thrilling and exiting race season 2009 in Nitro Onroad is now over in Austria – 5 races – 4 to count!
1st race: at MORAC Graz (Styria)
2nd race at SFMAV Salzburg (Salzburg)
3rd race at MAC Amstetten (Lower Austria)
4th race at LAMAC St. Paul (Carinthia)
5th race at MAV Aigen/Schlaegl (Upper Austria)

In 1:8 Onroad and 1:10 Onroad Sport we had 5 different winners and also 5 different Top Qualifier – the final decision felt until to the very last minute of last weekend final race where Michael Klausner jun. managed to become second to get overall win after some problems – engine to lean – broken plug – lost 3 laps - one lap behind the yesterday winner Daniel Tomaschko who had retired for more than one year!
Second overall has become young slovenien driver Mihelic Nejc. In 1:10 Sport a 4th place for Christian Bartacek in last weekend race was enough to win in front of Kevin Eggerstorfer (young talent – only 13 years old!) the championship!
The day win was made by local man Stefan Eichbauer (17 years!). In 1:10 TOP Gerhard Kandelhart managed with his 5th win this year at the nationals races a absolute perfect season result!

It has been a really great race season - this year competition was really close, and also the atmosphere has become really great and a lot of new talents have appeared! I am sure that race season 2010 will become also great – and would like to thank all participants and race organizers for their efforts – THANK YOU!
